Funcionamiento
Two opposing conical sections joined to a short cylinder rotate around a horizontal axis at 12 rpm. As the cone rotates, gravity- and tumble-driven convective and diffusive mixing redistributes powders along three axes with no dead corners. Optional vacuum suction feeding and an internal forced-mixing impeller allow handling of fine, agglomerated, or moisture-bearing powders and small-quantity additives. A stainless-steel butterfly valve at the apex of one cone enables fast, clean discharge.

Pre-production: (1) Wipe outer surfaces with clean wet towel; (2) Open machine and wipe inside with wet towel to remove dust and dirt; (3) Wipe hopper with clean towel then 75% industrial alcohol for sterilization. Post-shift: (1) Wipe inside and outside with clean wet towel; (2) Wipe hopper with clean towel then 75% alcohol. Monthly: inspect moving parts for wear; remove and clean drum after each use to clear remaining powder. Store with rust-proof oil and cloth canopy if out of service long-term.
