Funcionamiento
Material is frozen in-situ on the shelves via the cold trap pre-freezing function, then the chamber is evacuated to ≤2 Pa. Heat is applied through the shelves in controlled multi-stage ramps (sublimation then secondary drying) while the cold trap (-55 C) captures sublimated water vapor. The condensed ice is defrosted electrically after the cycle. This preserves biological activity and allows easy rehydration.
Proceso de funcionamiento
