Funcionamiento
Microwave vacuum drying combines microwave energy with vacuum technology. Under reduced pressure the boiling point of water drops (e.g. at 0.073 atm water boils at 40 °C), and microwave radiation heats the material uniformly from inside and out simultaneously — no heat conduction medium required. A dedicated microwave power supply with power-regulation module controls output; the magnetron is cooled by a dedicated fan. Opening the door automatically cuts power to prevent microwave leakage.
