SED-1SGJ-L is a single-head fully automatic rotary capping / lid-locking machine. Mainly used for embossing and edge-rolling tear-off aluminum tamper caps; with interchangeable capping heads it also handles spin-on plast

Funcionamiento

Rotary capping. Bottles travel on the conveyor and are smoothly pushed by the in-feed star wheel onto the rotating turret. The capping head orbits with the turret while spinning on its own axis; cam guide raises/lowers the head, and a 4-roller balanced spinning head rolls the cap thread and edge onto the bottle. After capping the head lifts and the out-feed star wheel returns the bottle to the conveyor.

Limpieza y mantenimiento

Daily before/after shift: wipe equipment clean. Long-idle: lubricate fully and cover with protective hood. Sliding/rolling friction surfaces and gear meshes inside hood: lubricate weekly with #2 calcium-base compound grease (GB491-87); each oil cup gets 1–2 shots per shift. Rotating parts on the head: lubricate once per shift. Bearings packed at factory; teardown and re-grease at annual overhaul. Run 5 minutes empty before each shift; only start production after normal operation is confirmed.
