Funcionamiento
Air is drawn through three filtration stages, heated to 160-250°C by a steam heat exchanger plus 90kW electric supplementary heater, and enters the chamber through a hot-air distributor imparting spiral flow. Concentrated milk is fed by a 0.55kW screw pump to a 2.2kW centrifugal atomizer (Ø135mm disc spinning at 15000 rpm) which atomises it into fine droplets. Co-current contact with hot air evaporates 95-98% of water in seconds; product powder falls through the 55° cone and is discharged via cyclone rotary valves. Exhaust is drawn out by a 15kW induced-draft fan after the cyclone; system operates at slight negative pressure.
Proceso de funcionamiento

2Concentrated milk is fed by a 0.55kW screw pump to a 2.2kW centrifugal atomizer (Ø135mm disc spinning at 15000 rpm) which atomises it into fine droplets.
