SED-1.5GFB-U — SED-GF Fluid Bed Dryer

Air is filtered (G4/F8 grade filters), heated and enters the granulation chamber through an air-distribution plate, fluidizing the powder. Compressed air and binder enter the spray gun where the binder is atomized into fine droplets and sprayed onto the fluidized powder, causing agglomeration into granules. Reverse-blow nozzles periodically and alternately clear powder deposited on the bag filters, returning it to the granulation chamber. Three spray modes: (1) Top-spray: counter-current spraying — long droplet travel path, suitable for rapid granulation, fast dissolution, and taste masking; (2) Bottom-spray (Wurster): co-current spraying with nozzle submerged in product, regular circular flow — ideal for film coating, sustained-release coating, enteric coating; (3) Tangential-spray: swirl fluidization — produces near-spherical granules with high strength.
