Side/back CELLTECH-dedicated LED light source illuminates the blister; a German ImagingSource DFK42BUC03 color camera with 0614MM 5 MP zoom lens captures each pocket image; an industrial PC (Intel D2550 1.89 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 64 GB SSD, Windows XP) running CELLTECH V1.0 proprietary inspection software performs image recognition; the Siemens S7-200 SMART PLC outputs rejection control signals to the blister packaging machine. Detects: missing/fractured (>25%) /double tablets; missing/capped/double capsules including transparent fish-oil capsules.
