Funktionsweise
Slurry is fed by a 1.5-inch pneumatic diaphragm pump into the horizontal grinding chamber. Grinding discs mounted on the rotor spin at up to 875 r/min (8.5 m/s tip speed), agitating the bead media which collide with the slurry particles to reduce them to 5–10 μm. Jacket cooling water (2–3 m³/h) carries away friction heat. Ground product is screened from the bead media at the discharge end.
