SED-3GB-A — SED-3GB-A High Efficiency Tablet Film Coating Machine

Tablets / pellets are loaded into a perforated rotating drum. As the drum turns at 3–24 rpm, the bed of tablets makes a continuous tumbling motion, exposing all surfaces. A peristaltic pump pressurizes coating solution to a Japanese Anest Iwata atomizing spray gun, which sprays a fine coating mist onto the bed. HEPA-filtered hot air enters the drum from the inlet system and is drawn down through the perforated drum wall and out through a bag filter and exhaust fan, creating negative pressure that dries each layer of coating quickly to form a smooth film.
