Funktionsweise
Grain flours and nutritional additives are pre-blended with water in a powder mixer. The blended material is conveyed by a screw feeder into a twin-screw extruder operating at high temperature and pressure, which gelatinises and puffs the material into expanded granules. Granules are air-conveyed into a 5 m three-layer oven for drying and pasteurisation. Cooled granules are then milled in a pulse-dust-suppressed milling system to 100–120 mesh. Final powder can be further blended in a mixing tank before packaging.
Prozessbeschreibung
1Grain flours and nutritional additives are pre-blended with water in a powder mixer.
