Funktionsweise
Planetary motion: jars revolve around a sun gear and counter-rotate (sun:jar ratio = 1:2). Five mechanisms act on the load: (1) Pulsation — material slides against the jar wall under compression, shear, and friction as a group. (2) Cataracting — balls fall and impact material when leaving the jar wall. (3) Circulating — concentric layered shedding causes compression-grinding and friction. (4) Sliding — material moves with balls under friction. (5) Clinging — material clings to the wall, protecting it. Circulation and sliding deliver ultrafine grinding via high-frequency, high-intensity collision, shear, and friction between media and sample. Supports dry and wet grinding; vacuum and inert-gas grinding via optional sealed jars; cryogenic grinding via optional cold-air or liquid-nitrogen system.
