Funktionsweise
Two-stage oil-sealed rotary vane mechanism. A rotor installed eccentrically in the cylinder carries vanes pressed against the cylinder wall by centrifugal force and spring tension. Rotation periodically expands the intake cavity to draw in gas and compresses the exhaust cavity to expel it through an oil-backed exhaust valve. A gas ballast valve admits atmospheric air to the compression stage to prevent condensable vapours from liquefying in the pump oil, extending oil service life.
