Karl Fischer coulometric titration with platinum diaphragm electrolytic electrode. Iodine is generated in-situ via electrolysis to react stoichiometrically with water in the sample; the charge consumed(Coulombs) is converted directly to water mass(1 mole I₂ reacts with 1 mole H₂O). A dynamic drift algorithm automatically subtracts background moisture from the environment and carrier gas for accurate trace-level measurement.
