X-ray fluorescence(XRF): a 50 kV / 100 mA / 4 W high-power micro X-ray tube with a selectable Au/Ag/W/Pd target excites the sample. A high-resolution SiPIN detector Peltier-cooled to −35 °C collects characteristic fluorescence X-rays through one of six auto-switching filters. The Fundamental Parameters(FP) algorithm — incorporating smart-beam, escape-peak removal, overlap deconvolution, and background subtraction — quantifies elements from Ti to U. Modes include FP, Compton normalization, and empirical calibration.
