Cut produce is spread evenly in a sieve basket and placed into the rotating drum. On closing the lid the machine starts automatically; the drum spins at a variable-frequency controlled speed and centrifugal force throws water through the basket walls; water exits via a drain port. When the cycle completes the drum stops and dewatered produce is removed.
