Material travels on a horizontal PTFE mesh conveyor through seven microwave cavities in series. Toshiba 2M248K(XB) magnetrons emit 2450 MHz energy into the cavities via top-fed waveguides; CAD/CAM-optimized cross-polarized multi-slot feeding produces uniform field distribution. Microwave heating excites water molecules in the product to vaporize moisture, which rises and is captured at the chamber-top humidity-exhaust port and discharged outdoors via centrifugal fans. Independent heat-exhaust fans cool the chamber. PLC + touchscreen controls belt speed, magnetron power and process temperature; infrared pyrometer monitors product temperature in real time.
