Flat carton blanks are erected by vacuum suction cups; product is transferred in from the infeed conveyor; the carton is sealed by a servo-driven tuck-in or glue-close mechanism controlled by an Omron CP1E PLC. Delta servo motors(1 kW × 2) provide precise positioning at 20–40 cartons/min.
