SED-3JLQ-B is a benchtop digital colony counter for laboratory enumeration of bacterial colonies and plaques on solid media. An image acquisition module captures the plate, and the integrated CMO counter processes the image; the operator can also use a probe pen to register colonies one by one with audible click confirmation and automatic voice readout. The counter has a 0-999(or 0-9999) capacity with a reset key and +/- correction keys. A free-positioning magnifier provides 3×(effective 9×) magnification for clear contrast. Two adjustable illumination sources(upper and lower) are independently selectable to optimize visibility for different media. The counting basin accepts petri dishes fromΦ50 toΦ150 mm; basin diameter isΦ155 mm. Used widely for food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, biological products, cosmetics, hygiene products, drinking water, sewage, industrial wastewater, and clinical samples.
