Lower forming film is gripped on a wide-opening chain conveyor and stretch-thermoformed into pockets; product is loaded; upper sealing film is fed and the pockets are vacuum-evacuated to ≤200 Pa via a Busch rotary-vane vacuum pump(100 m³/h); upper film is heat-sealed onto the lower web; longitudinal slitter cuts between rows; transverse cutters separate packs(each cutter independent, choice of straight or easy-peel saw-tooth edges).
