SED-3200J-I — Fully Automatic Capsule Filler

Empty capsules are loaded into the capsule hopper and fed into the magazine un-oriented. From the magazine they enter the sorting block where they are oriented(smaller end down). Vacuum at the second station separates cap from body. The lower body is filled over 6 tamping sub-stations with metered powder/granule. A pin dislodges and vacuum removes any unseparated or faulty capsules. After filling, cap and body are joined, finished capsule is discharged to a chute, and the station is air-blast cleaned. Non-separated or improperly inserted capsules are automatically rejected.
