Coating liquid is held in a 30 L jacketed tank kept warm by a controlled water jacket(9 L heating water, 1.4 kW heater). A pneumatic agitator with needle-valve speed control mixes the solution. A 60 W peristaltic pump(constant-flow) feeds the liquid via sanitary GMP-grade silicone tubing to an imported atomising nozzle, which sprays the atomised film onto tablets in the coating pan with adjustable spray fan width.
