مبدأ العمل
An enclosed light box illuminates the Petri dish from below; a 13-megapixel overhead camera captures the dish image. Software automatically crops the dish edges, sharpens and filters the image, then detects and marks each colony as a counted point. Operators can switch between fully automatic, manual, or hybrid(manually adjustable) counting modes and tune the discrimination coefficient to control the error rate. Results and images are stored locally and can be exported via USB or to Excel.
