Chain conveyor feeds corrugated boards. Two color stations each apply ink via a steel anilox roller(fitted with an overrun clutch for ink leveling and washing) and a rubber transfer roller onto a printing roller(Ø468 mm, hard chrome-plated, with plate-mounting function). A planetary gear phase-adjustment mechanism enables 360° digital electric adjustment of print registration and slotting phase, runnable at speed or at rest. The slotting section uses computer-controlled phase adjustment and quick-change blade discs for box-height and length/width adjustment.
