The unit uses a fully hermetic scroll compressor to compress R22 refrigerant, which then passes through an air-cooled condenser(low-noise external rotor fan + copper tube aluminum fin) to dissipate heat. The cooled refrigerant expands through an externally balanced thermal expansion valve and enters the evaporator(high-efficiency copper tube with aluminum fin), where it absorbs heat from the air blown across the coils, producing cold air at the desired temperature.
