Solvent in the rotating evaporation flask(immersed in a heated water/oil bath at up to 180°C) is heated and continuously refreshed at the flask wall by rotation(20-200 rpm). Under reduced pressure(provided by external vacuum pump), the solvent vaporizes at lower temperature, rises through the flask neck, and is condensed on the patented coil condenser(1200 or 1700 cm²) cooled by an external low-temperature circulator. Condensate collects in the receiving flask. PID closed-loop control maintains bath temperature; boil-dry protection cuts power if the bath is empty, and an overheat protection trips at 220°C.
