SED-250ZKX-D is a 50 L upright vacuum drying oven for laboratory and pharmaceutical use. Inner chamber 415×370×345 mm in argon-arc welded 304 stainless steel; outer shell sprayed steel. It dries materials under -0.1 MPa

Materials are placed in a sealed 304 SS chamber and the chamber is evacuated by an external rotary vane pump to about -0.1 MPa. Under reduced pressure the boiling point of water drops(e.g., to~60°C at 19.6 kPa). A nichrome heating element wrapped around the inner chamber transfers heat by conduction and radiation, evaporating moisture rapidly; the vapor is continuously pumped out. A fuzzy-PID controller using a Pt100 Class A sensor maintains target temperature with ±1.0°C accuracy, and over-temperature/short-circuit protection ensures safety.
