Tablets tumble in a perforated rotating drum(0–16 rpm) inside a closed coating chamber held under negative pressure by an explosion-proof exhaust fan. ISO 8(100,000-level) hot air supplied through 3-stage primary/medium/HEPA filtration(40–80 °C) penetrates the tablet bed from above and exits from the drum mesh, rapidly drying the coating medium sprayed by the peristaltic pump-fed spray guns. Process parameters(temperature, speed, negative pressure, spray rate) are automatically controlled by Siemens PLC with Siemens HMI.
