An electric motor drives a flywheel, large belt-pulley, and large gear which turn an eccentric shaft, driving the upper punch rod in a reciprocating vertical motion. Powdered or granular material fed into the die cavity is compressed between the upper and lower punches on each downstroke. The machine can be operated by motor or hand-crank.

التنظيف والصيانة

After each production run, remove residual powder and wipe all parts. If the machine will be idle for an extended period, remove the punch dies, clean all working surfaces, apply anti-rust oil, and cover the machine. Clean the hopper with a clean cloth followed by 75% industrial alcohol to remove dust and sanitise.
