Dual-chamber design with electric isolation valve allows pressure-rise testing during the freeze-drying process to determine the drying endpoint precisely. Cascade compressor refrigeration enables very low shelf and cold trap temperatures. Optional capacitance vacuum gauge in the drying chamber — the pressure difference between the Pirani gauge and the capacitance gauge indicates the freeze-drying endpoint.
